Chiropractic Treatment

Specialising in the diagnosis, treatment and management of musculoskeletal disorders we employ a range of techniques to reduce pain, improve function, increase mobility and help you achieve optimum health.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic therapy aims to reduce pain, improve function and increase mobility. Chiropractors are most well-known for treating the spine, but we are trained to treat any joint or muscle in the body.

The treatment mainly involves safe, often gentle, specific spinal manipulation to free joints in the spine or other areas of the body that are not moving properly. Apart from manipulation, chiropractors may use a variety of techniques including ice, heat, ultrasound, low level laser therapy, stretching, exercise and acupuncture as well as advice about posture and lifestyle.

Whether you have a new pain or a long-term complaint, whether your symptoms are mild or severe we can offer help.

Chiropractic is a registered primary healthcare profession and our practitioners have undertaken many years of training – find out more on our meet the team page.

What does the treatment involve?

Your chiropractic treatment will always be tailored to your specific needs. To ensure you receive the best possible treatment a variety of techniques may be used to suit your condition.

Chiropractic mainly involves manipulation or mobilisation of the spine to free stiff, restricted and painful joints.

Alongside manipulation, chiropractors are trained to use sports massage, myofascial dry needling techniques, rock taping, activator technique and low level laser therapy.

An important part of chiropractic treatment is advice regarding exercise rehabilitation, stretching and postural advice. Advice will be given on how best to manage your condition and prevent it from reoccurring. Our goal is to help you achieve pure health.
