Start your Monday by sitting right! 

Over a long time, poor posture can lead to neck and back pain.

Below, Kesh demonstrates how you should aim to sit at a desk. This is especially important right now if you are working from home!

  • Your eyes should be approximately 18 to 24 inches away from your screen;

  • Your shoulders should adopt a relaxed posture;

  • Your back should be supported by your chair;

  • Your arms should be supported from arm rests;

  • Your elbows should be bent at a 90 degree angle, with your forearms resting on the desk;

  • Your thighs should sit horizintally with your feet flat on the floor;

  • Your hips and knees should be bent at a 90 degree angle to the floor; and

  • Your chair should be adjusted to sit at approximately 16 to 20 inches from the floor.


Remember to look after yourself, stay hydrtaed and take regular breaks from the screen.
