Chiro is a whole of body, everybody treatment
The nervous system holds the key to the body’s incredible potential to heal itself.” Sir Jay Holder
Ask 100 people what a chiropractor does and they’re most likely to say that they treat your back. But that’s only part of the picture. A chiropractor treats the whole of the body, using the spine and back area as the starting point.
Because the spine is the super highway of the body’s central nervous system, minor adjustments to the spine can have huge effects on the rest of your body. And as your nervous system affects pretty well everything you experience – pain, organ function, all the senses and more, you can safely consider it your body’s control centre.
We treat patients of all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. We work out what is causing them discomfort or what is preventing them achieving everything they want to (it’s not all about pain – for example, sports people come to us to improve performance) and we use a non-invasive, hands-on approach to manipulate the body to make improvements. Sometimes it can be done in one session but most often, chiropractic needs several sessions to make the gentle adjustments necessary and to continue to see positive results.
Because of the joined up nature of the human frame, chiropractic can achieve great things as a skilled practitioner can work through all kinds of issues you are experiencing to alleviate problems. A chiropractor may also have an armoury of supporting treatments such as acupuncture, ice treatment, ultrasound, exercise and lifestyle advice to offer.
All treatment is gentle, sensitively administered and non-invasive. The team at the clinic believe that you should give yourself every opportunity to enjoy a pain-free, mobile, comfortable life. Most importantly, Stafford Chiropractic Clinic will give you the time you need to benefit from their care. Each appointment will include hands-on treatment and face-to-face time to discuss any concerns you may have.
